Programs That Enhance Quality of Life
Daily routines at Precious Life encompass all dimensions of wellness: social, emotional, spiritual, environmental, occupational, physical, health, and intellectual. Task-oriented activities, such as making T shirts and games, provide a sense of accomplishment and help your loved one feel like a valued part of the community. Our newly renovated and expanded program space, workshops, Precious Life Center Adult Services provide day services for adults with moderate-to-profound intellectual and physical disabilities. Workshops emphasize pre-vocational, wellness, daily living, social, and communication skills.

At PLC, everyone enjoys sharing their talents and abilities, especially in the fields of art and entertainment. Adults have learned to express themselves in a powerful manner through painting, music and the theatre.

PLC adult day Health center partner with caregivers, case managers and physicians in a team approach to provide each client with a unique program of cognitive and physical activities that is custom-tailored to his or her needs and interests. By engaging in these activities, our clients receive mental and physical stimulation that helps to improve their well-being and quality of life. Professional Registered Nurses are on site at all times.
Planned activities, community outings, daytrips, games, parties, music exercise with Wii programs, Casino slot Machine, True Movie Theater experience, Computer station and much more
Daily personal care
Health monitoring including medication management and injections.
Transfer assistance
Nutritious meals and snacks are served at our center. Our center will cater to special dietary needs and our menus are in compliance with nutritional guidelines.
Tube feeding care.
Our members and families are given guidance in utilizing social service and financial assistance agencies, counseling, and caregiver support groups.
Early identification of changes in condition.
Center is secured with staff keyed entry to ensure maximum security. No one can enter or exit without the help of our staff.
Medicaid Waivers accepted-the Individual Options (IO Waiver); the Self Empowered Life Funding (SELF Waiver), the Level One (L1 Waiver); and the Transitions (TDD Waiver).
